Environmental Protection Agency
EMAX successfully concluded a three year contract to provide laboratory
analytical services for organic and inorganic samples to US EPA,
Region IX. EMAX provided analytical services in support of
EPA’s investigative and clean-up responsibilities, and other
environmental measurements in accordance with project specific SOW. The
work included analysis of hazardous waste samples and application
of methods for the isolation, detection, and quantitative measure
of organic and inorganic samples. The EPA has recognized EMAX’s
exemplary performance in meeting their stringent standards and in
delivering high-quality analytical data.
EMAX also provided analytical support to CH2M Hill Constructors
in their effort to conduct remedial action (RA) at a Superfund Site
for EPA Region 6 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.
The Program Chemist wrote of our performance:
“EMAX performed in an exemplary fashion in delivering
a complete suite of analytical determinations for soil at our Superfund
site. The work was timely and of very high quality. EMAX
was able to provide customized EDDs for the special purpose requirements
of the project. Frequent project changes were handled
with ease by our EMAX Project Manager. A small error in
packaging resulting in a minor delay was accompanied with a personal
note from the shipping clerk responsible.
On a visit to audit the EMAX laboratory, I found a well instrumented
facility with an exceptionally responsive and engaged management
staff. I was impressed with the tenure of analysts, many
of whom at been with the company for a decade or more. Everything
was clean, and the diverse staff was highly organized and attentive
to their work. Section leaders were knowledgeable about all
aspects of operations. Documentation was thorough and detailed.”
